Allied Churches of Alamance County (ACAC) was founded in 1982 as an interdenominational collaboration of churches united to meet the needs of the hungry, homeless, and hopeless in Alamance County, NC. Now, over 30 years later, local congregation giving makes up one of our largest sources of funding. The "Allied Churches" that came together for a common goal - Housing the Homeless and Feeding the Hungry - still provide invaluable volunteer and financial support. We seek to be the "hands and feet" of Christ, and we could not do that without the help of the local faith community. While ACAC has grown and adapted to the changing needs of our community, congregational generosity has been a constant.
